Meet The Chief! Monique Palmieri-Wilson
Seeking career growth, I obtained my insurance license and joined American Fidelity Assurance (AFA) in the early 2000s. At AFA, I assisted public employees with Section 125 programs and various ancillary products such as short- and long-term disability, cancer, and life insurance.
After two years, my father and I recognized an opportunity for me to join our family agency in a specific role. As his right-hand, I immersed myself in all aspects of the business. In 2002, I became the Executive Vice President, working closely under Bill Hooper until his passing. He taught me the importance of building relationships in this industry, emphasizing that success stems from honesty, accountability, exceptional service, hard work, and respect for clients.
Fast forward to 2023, I carry on Bill's philosophy in an evolving industry. I have launched my own insurance agency, Granite Student Insurance Services, Inc. Committed to providing outstanding service, we assess special risks for underwriting and offer tailored insurance programs as one-size-fits-all plans don't meet every client's needs. Our service extends to claims administration, where we carefully review vendors to ensure compatibility with each client's requirements and adherence to HIPAA regulations. By prioritizing constant claims analysis and putting clients first, we strive to maintain the highest level of client satisfaction.
