Student Insurance FAQ

Granite Student Insurance Services is a California-licensed insurance brokerage (License #6010392) that arranges accident and health coverage for schools and educational programs. It works on behalf of institutions to find and place plans with insurance carriers, rather than selling policies directly to individual students. Coverage areas include athletic injury, catastrophic injury, international student health, and study-abroad plans.

Granite works with colleges and universities, K-12 school districts, summer camps and clinics, and education programs such as Upward Bound and other federal TRIO initiatives. It also arranges coverage for volunteer groups tied to those organizations. Most clients are institutions buying coverage for a group of students, athletes, or participants.
